Application Procedure 

Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted via the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free of charge and will be open from 6 May 2026, 11:00 AM to 2 June 2026, 4:30 PM.

You will receive notification from the school by 17 Jul 2026, if your child has been shortlisted to undergo Direct School Admission (DSA) selection.

🟦 Application Outcome

All applicants will receive their application outcomes between 17 and 28 Aug 2026.

Meeting all the criteria does not guarantee that an applicant will be shortlisted or offered a place.

Applicants Without Prior Experience

Applicants without prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include their potential in the respective talent area. That gives the notes clearer structure and makes the page easier to scan before users open the individual DSA criteria sections.

Leadership and Uniformed Groups

Selection Criteria 

Held key appointment in student leadership bodies and/or demonstrated leadership in school-related activities.  

Shortlisted candidates will be assessed based on their leadership qualities and skills through an interview.

(Note: Non-Singapore Citizens may be exempt from the Flight Experience Program depending on security clearance granted by the airport) 

Shortlisted candidates will be assessed based on prior knowledge and interest in aviation through the following criteria:

(Note: The SYFC CCA entails physical activities, i.e building and flying aeromodels. During model building, students can be exposed to wood dust, etc, and while flying, students can be expected to be out in the sun. Student must be physically fit enough to take part in such activities. Students who are asthmatic, with skin conditions such as eczema, or have physical impairments will not be suitable
