MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) 2026
The Ministry of Education (MOE) provides financial assistance to needy Singapore Citizen students studying in Government and Government-aided schools. This ensures that all Singaporeans, regardless of background, can benefit fully from education.

Eligibility Criteria

MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) eligibility income ceilings
Criterion | Eligibility Ceiling |

Gross Household Income (GHI) | $4,000 and below |
Per Capita Income (PCI) | $1,000 and below |
* Per Capita Income (PCI) = Total Gross Monthly Household Income ÷ Number of Household Members
Only Singapore Citizen students are eligible.

Benefits under MOE FAS

Ways to Apply for MOE FAS

Scan the QR code to access the MOE eFAS application.

📲Apply via Parents Gateway
Log in to Parents Gateway → Services → Financial Assistance to submit your application.
Important Notes
Apply early to receive free textbooks or uniforms before school starts.
Applications may be submitted throughout the year if the family's financial situation changes.
A fresh application must be submitted for every school year.
Do not purchase textbooks or uniforms before approval, as reimbursement will not be provided.

Parents/guardians will receive a call from the school regarding the outcome of their FAS application.
Parents who have received an email update from MOE HQ confirming that the MOE FAS has been approved are advised to wait for a follow-up call from the school.
The school will contact parents within the next few days to provide details on how to collect the following:
The FAS Approval Letter issued by the school.
The Administrative Instructions and Confirmation Slips for collection of textbooks and uniforms.

For Approved Applicants:
Parents are required to visit the General Office during the scheduled collection period before proceeding to the sales venues for books and uniforms to collect:
The FAS Approval Letter ( + Collection Slips for books and uniforms) issued by the school.
Note:
FAS applicants are strongly advised not to purchase any books or uniforms until they have been officially informed of their application outcome.
The school will not provide reimbursement for any purchases made before approval of the FAS application.
