Leave of Absence (LOA) Scheme
SC and PR students accompanying parents on overseas postings can keep their school place via the LOA scheme. Apply online and await the Principal's approval.
The Leave of Absence (LOA) scheme is to enable Singapore Citizen (SC) and Permanent Resident (PR) students accompanying their parents on overseas postings to retain their existing school places and to rejoin the school after returning to Singapore.
Eligibility
To be granted LOA, student must fulfil all 3 of the following criteria:
An SC or PR.
Presently studying in a Singapore school.
Accompanying you on an overseas posting with the intention of rejoining their school after returning to Singapore.
LOA Fee
The school will charge an annual nominal fee for a child on LOA. As a guide, the annual LOA fee for secondary schools will be at least $60.
