PLD Procurement
Purchase of Personal Learning Device (PLD)
The Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) for all secondary school students requires every student to own a school-prescribed Personal Learning Device (PLD).
BVSS has selected the Apple iPad Gen 11 A16 (128 GB) as its PLD offering. The device comes with 4 years of Apple Care for schools and includes the following accessories; Logitech Rugged Combo 4 (casing & keyboard) and Apple Pencil (USB-C).
Please complete the consent form titled ’Consent to Purchase of Personal Learning Device (PLD) and Installation of Device Management Application (DMA)’ through Parent Gateway sent to you by 19 January 2026 to ensure that the procurement process could go according to schedule.
The school encourages parents to authorise the option for students to collect the device, so that your child/ward can collect it together with his/her classmate in school.
Should you have a change in your email address, do update it in the Parents Gateway(PG) app. Information on the selection for the DMA options will be sent via PG on a later date.

Financial Assistance
Subsidies are available to students who require financial assistance. Singapore Citizens who are already on MOE FAS or School-based FAS will automatically qualify for these subsidies and do not need to take any action.
Permanent Residents (PR) and International Students (IS) who need support can apply for subsidies, particularly those whose Gross Household Income (GHI) is below $5500 or Per Capita Income (PCI) is below $1375. If your child qualifies for a subsidy, please submit this form to the General Office by 12 January 2026.
