Sec 1 Student Appeal for Transfer

For students requesting to transfer out of BVSS (due to serious medical conditions)

For students posted to BVSS but are seeking a transfer out due to serious medical conditions (e.g. chronic heart conditions) or severe physical impairments (e.g. require permanent use of a wheelchair), please approach the school between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm on Friday, 19 December 2025, bringing supporting documents.

Required Documents

For students with serious medical condition
- Medical report or letter from a certified doctor.
For students with severe physical impairments
- Medical report clearly describing:
  - The extent of the impairment (temporary/permanent).
  - The assistive device currently in use (e.g., wheelchair).

Please bring along the relevant medical documents (stated above) to support your appeal for school transfer. For further clarification, please contact the school’s General Office at 6566 1990.

Our transfer appeal period is open until Monday, 22 December 2025, 12:00 PM.

The school will contact parents whose appeals are successful by 2 January 2026.

Please note that students who wish to appeal for a school transfer may submit their appeals but are likely to be unsuccessful if they have not met the cut-off point for the respective courses in this year’s Secondary One Posting.

We review every application carefully, taking a holistic view in determining suitability for admission, considering academic results, passion/interests, reason for transfer, etc. Do note that your child's score should be 19 or lower. As the application is subject to available vacancies, please note that admission is not guaranteed.
